CINCINNATI – Vice President JD Vance visited the Cincinnati Bengals' practice on Wednesday.
The motorcade rolled in through a back gate at the Kettering Health practice fields adjacent to Paycor Stadium around 2:15 p.m. local time, with a hefty police presence in the surrounding area.
Secret Service agents were in view and police dogs checked the perimeter of the practice facility during the portion of practice open to reporters.
Vance, a Middletown native who has a residence in Cincinnati's East Walnut Hills neighborhood, is a longtime Bengals fan. He was in the area for a speech at the FBI Cincinnati Field Office and a mid-term campaign rally in Sharonville. He's expected to fly out later in the evening.
The 3-2 Bengals will play the 4-2 Ravens in Baltimore on Sunday.
